About Us

Thanks for stopping by to find out more about me. I'm Sherri Boyce, resident artist around here. I've worn many hats throughout my journey, some of which include: a stay at home mom of two, a direct sales queen, an instructional aide at our school and bookkeeper. But I always yearned for just a little something more. Deep in my soul I felt a calling to release my creative passion, really it was bound to happen with my father being an artist. After a fateful earring purchase in 2005, I felt I had finally uncovered that yearning. I became a jewelry designer and haven't looked back.

I have loved jewelry since I was a child playing dress up with some of Grandmother's jewelry box treasures. I felt like a little princess when I draped those jewels around myself. I would love for my customers to feel as special now as they wear one of my pieces.

I find inspiration in the unlikeliest of places. Nothing is off limits as my eye is drawn to unique colors, patterns and compositions. Rescuing and re-purposing vintage and antique pieces is what I do best. There's just something about breathing new life into something once deemed trash. Each of those items were once beloved by someone. They held special meaning to a woman like yourself so many years ago. If you have a drawer of jewelry that is broken or have cherished items that you would like me to spin into something special, just let me know. We'll see if we can work some magic.

As I was exploring antique pieces I came across some components that weren't necessarily conducive to jewelry but I just couldn't let them go. In thinking of a way to re-lovely these additional elements, the mixed media portion of my business was born.

I make it a priority to spend a part of each day designing and dreaming up new creations to share here with you. I create my jewelry meticulously, attending to every detail. I use only the finest, most durable components. Because of the unique design process and the rarity of the items I use in my pieces, no two items are alike.  Everything you purchase from Upcycled Soul is a one-of-a-kind heirloom. This wearable art should speak to your soul and be something you can be proud to wear again and again.
